To support our mission to promote renewable energy and energy management, we are looking for experienced cloud software engineers to lead the design and development of cloud-based systems for managing PPC updates, reporting, and data storage. This role includes ensuring reliable communication with intraplant systems and seamless integration with the Farsight™ Analytics platform. what you do
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure for PPC status reports, updates, and onboarding.
- An architect data pipeline for real-time and historical data from PPC to Farsight™ systems using MQTT.
- Ensure scalability, reliability and security of your cloud components.
- Work with technical leads within plants to optimize data exchange and system performance.
- Develop APIs and services for system management and reporting.

Requirements
- You’re smart and get things done
- Over 5 years of experience in cloud-based development
- Brings expertise in MQTT and real-time data pipelines and is well versed in renewable energy systems
- You are proficient in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Experienced with historical data database systems (Timescale, Clickhouse)
- You excel at working with remote teams that go beyond functionality.
- You overlap with CET for 4 hours
- You are eligible to obtain a visa and can travel to Italy within three months of employment.
