Brian Wilson had an impact that has extended beyond the world of music.
Wilson, co-founder of the musical group The Beach Boys, died on Wednesday, his family announced on social media and on his official website. He was 82 years old.
His disappearance had a direct impact on Miami Heat forward Kevin Love. Wilson and his brothers started the band with his cousin Mike Love, who is an uncle of the 18 -year -old NBA veteran. Kevin Love referred to Wilson, technically cousin, as his uncle.
“The Love family is deeply saddened by Brian Wilson’s loss,” Love wrote on an Instagram post. “He was revolutionary in his songwriting and organizing. Growing up around my uncle Mike and Beach Boys I absorbed a large part of their influence within Rock & Roll.”
However, Mike Love and Wilson had a spit in their relationship when the two entered a legal feud for the singer -songwriter credits. Wilson in the end left the band for mental health reasons.
Wilson and Love would take legal measures on credits and money for songwriters for alleged contributions on 79 songs, including “California Girls” and “Good Vibrations”. The feud has turned into a Test of eight weeksthat love won in December 1994.

According to Love, his father told stories about how he brought Wilson out of the house and on a field to play basketball in their local YMCA.
Love also recognized his appreciation for Wilson’s continuous creativity despite his “turmoil”.
“I personally admire Brian’s true creative resilience despite the challenges on mental health,” he wrote. “The beauty between the turbulence. We can all be to learn from this. Its impact, not only in music, is felt for many generations and it will be for the generations to come.
“The condolences to the Wilson family. We will play the emotional sympathies forever and honor Brian’s legacy.”
