role
As a senior backend engineer, you acquire ownership of one or more product domains and work closely with product, design, and front engineering to provide impactful capabilities to solve real employment issues.

Your main responsibilities are:
- Designing, building and scaling backend services and APIs, as well as core hiring workflows in Power Toggl (evaluation, candidate pipelines, reporting, integration, etc.).
- From candidate UX to recruiter dashboards, we work with CrossFaist to identify, scope and deliver high-impact product initiatives.
- Design, disassemble and complete a medium to large range of projects with high levels of productivity
- Find technical problems in existing systems/products and provide solutions without guidance
- Major projects with small groups of people, including holding weekly meetings and communicating with other partners and stakeholders.
About You

In particular, we are looking for:
- GO’s powerful back-end engineering experience
- Important professional experience with distributed systems, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud Infrastructure
- Experience with software engineering best practices (unit tests, code reviews, design documentation, etc.)
- Particularly experience with large-scale performance and optimization problems, and the ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems
- Ability to improve cross-teams and occupational areas to promote continuous projects
- Ensure effective communication skills, regular consensus with peers and clear status updates.
- Strong collaboration skills to define, design, build and improve your products.
- Experience in data warehouses, analytics systems, large Kubernetes, and system architectures at scale.
- Provides accurate and practical feedback to colleagues, including interviews and guidance with junior engineers, and enthusiasm to contribute to the growth of their engineering team.
- English proficiency is required for success in remote, almost asynchronous work environments, both written and verbally
