Will the conflict in India-Pakistan continue to escalate?
After India carried out air strikes over Pakistan and the Pakistani area of Kashmir, the Pakistani military claimed yesterday that it broke Indian jets. According to Indian officials and western diplomats as well as local media reports and witness accounts, two or three Indian aircraft went to the Indian side of the border. The question now is whether Pakistan will decide that it has to answer India’s strikes with its own attack on Indian soil.
For the time being, Pakistan says that it keeps all of its options open. But diplomats and analysts expressed some hope that a comprehensive war could be averted. The Pakistani Minister of Defense said that he would welcome further US efforts to defuse his country’s crisis with India.
The Pakistani military said that more than 20 people were killed and dozens were injured after India met six places in Pakistani and Kashmir and in the province of Punjab. The inhabitants of the Indian side of Kashmir said that at least 10 people were killed by shelling from the Pakistani side.
Even when India welcomed his “Operation Sindoor” attack on Pakistan as a victory to the terrorist attack in Kashmir last month, in which 26 people were killed, the evidence that their armed forces may have had serious losses.

One of the favorites is “We don’t separate”, a fantastic novel that repeats a violent chapter in South Korean history. Another is “careless people”, a dark funny exposé from Facebook.
