A 13-year-old boy died after he had fallen from a memorial day Parade Float in Ohio, the authorities said.
The incident occurred late Monday morning during a Parade Day Day in Green, south of Akron in the Summit County.
The teenager drove in the parade with a trailer pulled by a pickup, the authorities said. It fell from the front of the trailer and was then littered by the tires of the trailer, which suffered serious injuries, the authorities said.
Firefighters who were already on site for the parade answered immediately. The teenager was transported to a local hospital in a critical condition, where it was declared dead, the green fire brigade, said.
The child’s name, which came from North Canton, was not published.

The incident is examined, the Sheriff office of the Summit County saidrefers to death as a “tragic accident”.
The parade immediately ended, ABC News’ Cleveland partner Wewss reported.
“Our hearts go to the family at that time,” Green Mayor Rocco Yeargin told reporters. “We try to support you as a green community as we can.”
The Green School District supported the school district of North Canton Advice, said the mayor.
