Right, sorry parents who proudly put the borderline designs of the Impressionists on the refrigerator, there is an indispensable new minimum that you have to meet. If you are not transforming your child’s drawings into complete video games, then I’m sorry to say that you are not doing a good job. This does not apply to Artur Latkovsky, however, that he is literally doing it with his game Strange Dorable (I’m sure I don’t need to explain the name), a game in which every single piece of art in the game was made by his four -year -old daughter.
Now, here’s the point: art is obviously something taken from a four -year -old boy. Are you not going to start strange Dorable and think “Wow, he is only four years old and has drawn this?” It was so clearly! Yet, it is immediately, infinitely fascinating because it is a raw and unkempt art made by someone who has no preconceived notions of, well, presumably almost most of the things.

Latkovsky describes it as an exploration of the open world, puzzle Game “in which you have to help a princess find all her lost candies. I can’t tell you how those puzzles will be, the details are rather light, but given the involvement of a literal child in the development process, I suppose that they will not be so complicated.
The real hook here is the improvised nature of everything. Latkovsky explained in a Reddit post that he even tries to make art design by his concrete daughter in the game. Another example is that his daughter has designed a dinosaur with wings you are protecting a space rocket, so obviously this is added. I mean, isn’t it the dream of every child? Saying someone all the ridiculous ideas you have and make them real? Good stuff, even if the child is technically paid in candies according to Latkovsky.
It will also be a rather short game, closed at about an hour, intentionally designed to be “digestible”, so don’t expect too much when apparently arrives in September this year. You can want list of steam Here If you are enchanted like me.
