The former coach of Scotland and British and Irish Lions Sir Ian McGeechan says he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer.
The former center and half Fly won 32 caps Scotland, to capture them nine times, and shot with the Lions in 1974, winning the series in South Africa and in 1977.
He trained Scotland at the Grand Slam of the five nations in 1990 and brought Lions to the victories in series as a coach in 1989 and 1997.
