(4-12-25) The Ohio All-Stars swept the Kentucky All Stars in the 32nd annual series contest tonight at Thomas More University.
In a nail-biter the Ohio boys were trailing with 8 seconds to go 109-107…but thanks to a last second (2.7 seconds) Trey Perry (Lakota East) triple the Buckeyes would pick-up a 110-109 win. Perry had 12 points in the 2nd half, 26 points for the game and was named the Player of the Game for Ohio.
Ty Price (Butler County) was named Kentucky’s Player of the Game.
Kentucky led at the half 59-51.
The Ohio girls cruised to a 93-69 win over the Kentucky stars, it was the 14th series win for the Buckeye stars. Ohio led at halftime 58-29.
The two MVPs for the game were Ohio’s Madison Parrrish (Mason) and Kentucky’s Abby Gilbert (Jackson County).
