More than 25 people were arrested after a group had occupied an academic building at the University of Washington and asked Boeing as a further Gaza war, according to the university and a spokesman for the group.
A group called Students United because of Palestinian equality and return claimed that she was behind the takeover, and a spokesman told ABC News that all people who have entered the building were arrested.
” They were all arrested and legal and political support for them continues, “said spokesman Oliver Marchant in a text and added:” With the exception of one in the building – some of those arrested were also injured and needed medical help during the arrest. “
In an earlier press release, the school said that “a few dozen people” joined the interdisciplinary engineering building shortly before closing from 5 p.m. The campus police were called on site, the university announced in an ABC News explanation.
Police officers can be seen in this screen grave from a video during a cast of a building by demonstrators on the University of Washington campus, which was returned by students for the Palestinian equality and return of UW on March 5, 2025.

Boeing, an aircraft manufacturer and one of the largest defense companies in the United States, has a long history at the University of Washington.
Before the arrests, the school said, “mostly discovered their faces and stack building furniture near entrances”.
“According to our best knowledge, everyone who does not want to be in the building has connected,” said the university in an explanation. “People who remain in the building performed and will be exposed to legal and student behavioral measures.”
The group, which goes from Super UW and identified as a pro-Palestinian, published a number of requirements for school administrators, including “Boeing from the IEB”, as the building they have occupied.
The group asked that the building was renamed.
Boeing delivered about 10 million US dollars as a donation to support the construction of this 90 million dollar building, the school announced before building in 2022. In a press release from this period, it was found that “Boeing’s relationship with the UW has been returning more than a century”.
The group that occupies the building was looking for all donations from Boeing to stop to school.
“Give back all existing donations, financial investments and remove all other material ties to Boeing,” said the group. “Prohibiting managers and employees of Boeing, teaching courses or having an impact on the curriculum.”
