Find out how you can train as a real MotoGP 25 driver with the new race out of the way

The new episode of the MotoGP series is finally here for the Xbox consoles, MotoGP 25. This year, the game presents many innovations both in gameplay and technology. One of these is the race out of the way, in which players can immerse themselves even deeper in the life of a real pilot by training with three unique bikes.

We train

Over the years we have talked to many cyclists of all categories and everyone told us how important it is to train to constantly improve their ability in order to perform the best on the track. In the previous chapters of the franchise, we have been able to add many characteristics that helped the players to feel closer to the real sport, but the part of the training was still missing. We are very happy to be able to include it in chapter 2025. It was a very difficult challenge, but our talent team did an incredible job.

Our goal was not only to include the last piece of the pilot’s life in a gamified form, but also to give the player a more relaxed moment in their game time, to have fun in a different environment away from the tension of the official MotoGP races. We took inspiration from real life to create both bikes and environments. As you may know, cyclists cannot use their official bikes to train, so they use different types of two wheels that allow them to improve their driving skills. We also wanted to transmit the sense of camaraderie that you can see when the cyclists of all categories come together to train.

As for the setting, we wanted to bring MotoGP fans to the heart of this sport, in Europe. Our team created four original songs, both asphalted and off -road vehicles, set in two environments that capture the ideal characteristics of the perfect training field. The players will find a hottest place set on the hills of Maremma in Tuscany and a colder one in the French Alps. They will be like large themed parks that cyclists can meet, chat and have fun from the classic race weekends.

Three new bikes, three new driving styles

The three bikes available in the methods of tender, motorcycle, flat and minibike track, are very different both in size and handling. We had to study them to reproduce them carefully, but above all, we had to differentiate physics systems to bring the feeling of going by bike, keeping a fun and gameplay -oriented approach, just like we do with the classic MotoGP. For the first time from the adoption of Unreal Engine, the franchising goes off -road vehicle, so we also had to work on the surfaces to carefully reproduce the unique tracks on which the flat slopes flows. It is a discipline based on drift and low traction due to the presence of sand on the surfaces. We have created a physics system that simulates this lack of grip, so that you have to constantly control the back of your bike to balance the drifts and speed. The flat track will teach you how to deal with the loss of traction, an ability that you can apply to any other type of bike available in the game. This was the most demanding bike to create. We had to reproduce the physics and management of a bike that is very difficult to master while keeping the gameplay fun and accessible.

The minibikes are the most particular bike we have ever had. They are very small and less powerful than any other bike, but they are incredibly agile. They run on the same asphalted tracks as Motard, but the management is very different. Given their lack of power, to be competitive you will have to find the ideal trajectory and perfectly affect the peak.

Finally, the moder uses the same frame as the flat track, but works on small asphalted circuits as smaller traces of kart. It is still a very agile bike, but it is also much more powerful than a minibike, so to master it you have to learn to balance the brake and the accelerator, especially when you leave the corners. The engine brake is also very powerful, so it is an extra element to be taken into consideration during the game.

Refine your skills as a true professional in career mode

The methods of tender will be accessible both online and offline, through a dedicated section in the main menu, but are a fundamental part of the renewed career mode. As mentioned above, we wanted to include these disciplines to relieve the tension between the weekend of the race and it is exactly where you will be invited by other cyclists to take part in these training sessions. By accepting, you will also be able to increase the physical performance of your pilot, a first for franchise. Improving the module will help you approach certain breed situations more easily, such as bike management during shifts. You will receive three different invitations each time, one for each bike. You can choose which one you want to accept to try everything or specialize in a single discipline. Training invitations are also connected to other career systems such as relationships. In MotoGP 25 everything will be super connected and you will see every consequence both inside and off the track. We really wanted to add these new mechanics to the game, to get closer to the life of a real pilot, for a real and engaging experience, we can’t wait to see you run on these new bikes!
