Kyiv-four European leaders have now connected the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv to push Russian President Vladimir Putin, to accept a 30-day unconditional ceasefire or with more sanctions against Russia.

“The ceasefire must be comprehensive: in the air, at sea and on land”, “ Zelenskyy told reporters. “It is quite possible to monitor the ceasefire in coordination with the United States. This is really realistic. The ceasefire should take 30 days to give diplomacy a real chance.”

Zelenskyy said the group “spoke together with President Trump. We agreed on our joint perspective on our further measures”.

“We all here, together with the USA, call Putin,” added the British Prime Minister Keir Starrer. “If he is peace seriously, he has the chance to show it now.”

This ceasefire could start on Monday when Russia agrees. That seems unlikely. The Russian news agency Interfax quoted the Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on Saturday and says: “We hear many contradictory statements from Europe. They are generally confrontational instead of trying to revive our relationships. Nothing more.” Putin continues to urge Kyiv to give up large parts of the eastern and southern Ukraine that Russian armed forces have not occupied.

Paranmer traveled together with the leaders of France, Germany and Poland in their first joint appearance to Kyiv to take part in a virtual meeting of the “coalition of the will”. This includes mainly European nations that would support Ukraine at Ukraine if there is permanent ceasefire after more than three years after three years of the full-time war in Russia.

In Italy, Giorgia Meloni, Mark Carney, the Secretary General Mark Rutte, the President of the European Commission, were among those who participate in a video link, Ursula von der Leyen.

This was the first visit to the Ukraine of the new German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, a strong lawyer of Ukraine, who took on an office on May 6th. Merz said on Saturday that Europe will continue to defend Ukraine on Saturday.

The French President Emmanuel Macron, who described the Ukraine “The Beating Heart of Europe”, documented the journey of managers by train Instagram And posted a video of the group with Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian First Lady Olena Zelenska, who visited a monument to the war in Central Kyiv. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that it was “symbolic” to meet in Kyiv, a city that is exposed to almost daily Russian attacks, and showed “the strength of our unity”.
