UEFA states that Euro 2028 joined in England, Scotland, Wales and Republic of Ireland will have to arrive through the qualifications to participate in the competition.

Nine locations through the four home nations will stage the 24 -team tournament.

Unlike the previous euros that saw the hosts automatically qualify, UEFA had to modify its protocols since the 2028 edition is taking place through the four nations.

Instead, 20 nations will go through, with 12 group winners and eight as classified more positive.

Two of the remaining four points will be assigned to the two most classified host nations that have not automatically qualified, while the last two places will be decided via play-offs for the remaining classified during the group.
