All hospitals in North Gaza out of operation, says the Ministry of Health

All three public hospitals in the North Gaza became “out of operation”, according to the Hamas Ministry of Health, when Israel continued to take its offensive to confiscate areas of the territory.

The Ministry said on Sunday that Israeli armed forces had besieged the Indonesian hospital in Beit Lahia, “with a heavy fire … preventing patients, medical staff and supplies”.

The hospital was the last in the north that operated, it was said.

The Israel’s military has been terminating the start of “Operation Gideon’s Chariot” in the middle of the deadliest wave of strikes in Gaza on Saturday.

The Hamas offered to publish nine hostages in exchange for a 60-day ceasefire and the release of Palestinian prisoners, said a Palestinian official from the BBC after having held new negotiations on Saturday.

The Ministry of Health said on Sunday: “After the destruction of the Beit Hanoun Hospital and the Kamal Adwan Hospital and the Indonesian hospital, all public hospitals in Northern Gaza Strip are now out of service.”
